Israeli forces shot a Palestinian teen on Wednesday after storming the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Media sources reported that occupation forces invaded the towns of Beita and Odala, and fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, injuring a child.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), reported that its ambulance crews transported a 17-year-old child to the hospital after he sustained a live gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The Ma’an News Agency reported that the child Sidqi Dweikat, 17, was shot in the abdomen with live ammunition.
It quoted medical sources who described the teen’s injury as moderate, adding that he was transported to the emergency department in Beita town.
In related news, illegal Israeli colonizers ran over a Palestinian citizen and stabbed another with a sharp object, after storming the area between the villages of Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
