Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man on Monday in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem in addition to shooting a child in Awarta, south of Nablus, in the southern and northern parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces opened fire with live rounds after invading Al-Khader town and paving a settler-only road in the “Umm Rakba” area, on Monday afternoon.
Soldiers shot an 18-year-old man in the chest while ambulance crews transported him to Beit Jala Governmental Hospital; the severity of his wounds was not known at the time of writing this report.
On Monday night, occupation forces shot and a Palestinian child with live rounds after storming the town of Awarta, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
According to Amid Ahmad, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society’s emergency and ambulance center in Nablus, its ambulance crews transported a child to the hospital after he sustained a gunshot wound to the back.
In related news, the army killed a Palestinian young man and injured two others, before dawn on Monday, in the Al-Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The slain young man, identified as Malek Ali al-Hattab, 19, succumbed to his injuries on Monday evening, hours after occupation forces shot him in the abdomen with live ammunition.
Earlier, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Jalazone refugee camp and opened fire with live rounds, shooting Al-Hattab in the abdomen, one young man in the knee and another in the hand.
Also on Monday night, the army deployed many soldiers to the nearby town of Huwarra, forced Palestinian businesses to close, while carrying out search operations.
