On Tuesday, marking Day 29 since Israel resumed the genocide in the devastated, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians across the coastal enclave.

In Gaza City, at least two Palestinians were killed and several others injured when the army fired a missile at an apartment near the Saraya Junction in the city center. The army also fired artillery shells at several homes east of Gaza City, causing significant damage.

Additionally, six Palestinians were killed and many others injured when the army targeted a home in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.

These six were killed just hours after the army killed three Palestinians and injured several others by targeting displaced families in the Sha’af area, east of the Tuffah neighborhood.

Several Palestinians were also injured when an Israeli military drone fired a missile at a tent housing a displaced family in the western part of the city.

Furthermore, Al Jazeera reported that the army struck the Al-Yarmouk Sports Stadium, where thousands of displaced Palestinians had sought shelter.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a home near Nasser Medical Center, killing a child and injuring several others.

In another incident in Khan Younis, two Palestinians were killed and several others injured when the army fired a missile at Mawasi al-Qarara, northwest of the city.

Medical sources confirmed that the army targeted a tent housing a displaced family in Mawasi al-Qarara, killing Fathi Abdul-Qader Abu Sha’ar, 56, and Yahia Fati Abu Sha’ar.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southernmost region, Israeli forces wired and detonated several residential buildings and homes.

Palestinian medical sources reported that Israeli missiles and shells killed at least 21 Palestinians and injured dozens, including many children and women, across the Gaza Strip on Monday.

Speaking to Al Jazeera News Agency, the director of Gaza hospitals stated, “The health situation in Gaza is catastrophic, as all hospitals are overwhelmed with patients. We currently have 11,000 patients in urgent need of treatment abroad, but their departure is obstructed by the occupation.”

He added, “Medical services for the wounded are being delivered at a minimal capacity due to the severe shortage of resources. Our current fuel stock will only last for two weeks, putting patients’ lives in jeopardy.”

He urgently called for the evacuation of patients from the region to receive proper medical care and for the entry of medical teams and equipment into the Gaza Strip.

In related news, Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, stated that the group lost contact with fighters holding captive Israeli soldier Eidan Alexander after the Israeli army bombed the area.

“The Israeli army directly struck the fighters’ location; we have officially lost contact with the fighters guarding Eidan Alexander,” Abu Obeida said. “We have been trying to reach them. We believe Israel is deliberately trying to kill captives with dual nationalities to continue the genocide against the Palestinian people.”

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed at least 51,000 Palestinians, including more than 17,954 children, 12,365 women, 1,394 medical staff, 105 Civil Defense staff, 203 UN staff, and 210 journalists. Over 116,343 have been injured, largely children, women, and the elderly. Additionally, approximately 12,000 remain missing, many believed to be trapped under the rubble across the Gaza Strip.
