On Friday, Israeli forces continued their relentless bombardment of civilian tent camps housing displaced families, schools, and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. This marks the tenth consecutive day of attacks since Israel broke the ceasefire on March 18th. The strikes have killed more than 43 Palestinians and injured at least 114, with many still trapped under the rubble in various parts of the besieged and devastated Gaza Strip.
In the al-Fakhoura area of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, the army fired a missile at a tent sheltering a displaced family, killing three Palestinians, including a child, and wounding several others.
In Khan Younis, located in southern Gaza, the army targeted a car west of the city with a missile, killing Mahmoud Adwan and Ismael Shakshak, and injuring several others.
Additionally, artillery shells and live rounds were fired at the eastern areas of Abasan Al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younis, causing multiple casualties.
Two Palestinians, including a child, were injured when a missile struck a home in Bani Soheila town, east of Khan Younis.
In Rafah, situated in Gaza’s southernmost region, the army launched a missile at an area in the city’s eastern part, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others.
Shelling in Shouka town, east of Rafah, resulted in the deaths of two Palestinians and caused additional injuries.
The Israeli army also wired and detonated numerous homes in Rafah, particularly in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in the city’s western part.
Further attacks included artillery shelling in the Surani mountain area, east of the Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that a shell struck a home belonging to the Awad family in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, killing 14 Palestinians, including women and children, and injuring many others. Several individuals remain trapped under the rubble.
In northern Gaza, the army wired and detonated homes in areas such as Beit Lahia and Ezbet Abed-Rabbo, east of Jabalia, while firing barrages of live rounds, shells, and missiles.
