Israeli Soldiers, stationed across the border fence, opened fired earlier on Monday on a number of Palestinian farmers, in their own agricultural lands, east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the soldiers, stationed on military towers across the border fence, east of Khuza’a, fired dozens of live rounds towards the farmers, forcing them to leave their lands; no injuries were reported.

The soldiers conduct daily attacks and violations against the Palestinians in the besieged coastal region, especially in border areas in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, preventing the Palestinian from entering their lands.

Elsewhere, The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, various districts in the occupied West Bank, searched many homes and kidnapped at least fourteen Palestinians. The PPS said the arrests took place in various Palestinian communities in Nablus, Ramallah, Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

The soldiers broke into dozens of homes, and searched them, causing property damage, in addition to interrogating many Palestinians.

They also conducted military searched in Palestinian lands, around Ya’bad town, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, after the army said several shots were fired on a military pose, near Mabo Dothan colony.

In other news, The Israel Authorities releases, on Monday at dawn, the body of a Palestinian who was shot and killed by the soldiers, on November 10 2015, and only allowed a limited number of family members to participate in the funeral ceremony and burial, in Jerusalem.

The Palestinian, Mohammad Abed Nimir, 37, from the al-‘Isawiyya town in Jerusalem, was buried at the Mujahidin Graveyard, in Salaheddin area, in occupied Jerusalem. Nimir was fatally shot on November 10 of last year, after the soldiers alleged he attempted to stab them, while eyewitnesses denied the claims.
