Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Tuesday evening, a Palestinian teen in the al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and injured at least fifty-nine others, including five who suffered serious wounds.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Hebron said the soldiers shot Mohammad Abu Hashhash, 17, with a live round in the chest, causing a very serious injury, and that teen died of his wounds shortly after in a local hospital. The Red Crescent added that the soldiers also shot and injured 45 other Palestinians with live fire and rubber-coated steel bullets, including five persons who suffered serious wounds.
Extensive clashes took place in the refugee camp when hundreds of soldiers invaded it, after completely surrounding it, and initiated violent searches of homes leading to property damage.
Elsewhere, Palestinian medical sources have reported that an infant suffered, on Tuesday at dawn, severe effects of teargas inhalation, after Israeli soldiers invaded Kufur Qaddoum, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia. The soldiers also kidnapped one Palestinian.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday at dawn, the Jenin refugee camp and Ya’bad town, in the northern West Bank district of Jenin, searched homes and kidnapped four Palestinians.
Also on Tuesday, Israeli troops invaded several areas in the West Bank and demolished at least 10 homes and care repair shop. Troops claimed that the owners did not have building permits from the Israeli army.
Israeli military vehicles, and bulldozers, invaded on Tuesday morning the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, and demolished eight Palestinian homes.
The army also demolished wells in the town.in the town of Beit Jala, near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem Israeli troops demolished two Palestinian homes and a room. Moreover, A number of Israeli military vehicles, and bulldozers, invaded on Tuesday at dawn, Anata town, northeast of occupied East Jerusalem, and demolished a car repair garage, and a tree nursery.
In related news, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday morning, the village of Shoufa, near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, and uprooted many olive trees before loading the trees in their trucks and drove to an unknown destination.
