A Palestinian child died Saturday from serious wounds he suffered when Israeli soldiers shot him after the army invaded Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, on October 9.
Fawwaz Hammad, the head of the Ar-Razi Hospital in Jenin, identified the teen as Ahmad Abdul-Rahim Sha’er, 16, from the al-Jalama town, northeast of Jenin.
He added that Israeli soldiers shot Ahmad in the abdomen and the thigh, causing extensive organ damage, adding that he was admitted to surgery and remained in the Intensive Care Unit until her succumbed to his wounds.
His death brings the number of Palestinians, the Israeli soldiers killed during the invasion and its aftermath, to eleven Palestinians, in addition to twenty who were injured, some seriously.
On November 29, Israeli soldiers killed four Palestinians, including two children, and bombed Homes in Jenin.
On November 27, Israeli soldiers killed five Palestinians, including a child, and injured eleven in Jenin.
