On Friday, medical sources confirmed the death of a young man from Beita town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, from serious wounds he suffered in August of last year, 2023.

The sources identified the young man as Ameed Ghaleb Sa’id Jaghoub, from Beita, and added that the soldiers shot on when they invaded the town in August of 2023.

The young man underwent surgery and remained in a critical condition at the Intensive Care until he succumbed to his wounds.

It is worth mentioning that Ameed was shot by an Israeli army sharpshooter in the head on August 21, 2023. He suffered severe wounds and brain hemorrhaging as the bullet also fractured his skull.

His death brings the number of Palestinian Israeli soldiers killed in the occupied West Bank in just 24 hours to twelve; four in Jenin, four in Tulkarem, one in Hebron, one in Ramallah, and one in Jericho.

Also Friday, Israeli missiles executed a Palestinian man after a prolonged gun battle, while seven soldiers were injured, near the town of Deir Ibzi’, west of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

Media sources reported that the young man, Mujahid Barakat Mansour, 32, from Deir Ibzi’, opened fire at a bus carrying illegal Israeli colonizers near the “Dolev” settlement, before dawn on Friday.

Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 450 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023.
