On Sunday, the Israeli occupation authorities forced a Palestinian to demolish his home in the Wadi al-Jouz neighborhood in the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
The WAFA Palestinian News & Info Agency said the Palestinian, Farid Jaber, was forced to demolish his home in the Wadi al-Jouz neighborhood after exhausting all appeals despite paying hefty fines and fees.
WAFA added that Israel ordered the Palestinian to demolish his home because he didn’t obtain a construction permit.
Jaber filed for a permit several times and had to build the 80-square/meter home to house his family, especially since his wife is physically challenged.
While Israel continues to build and expand its illegal colonies, Palestinian communities, and towns, in occupied Jerusalem, and various areas in the occupied West Bank, continue to be denied the right to build homes and property.
