A Palestinian citizen was injured on Sunday evening after an Israeli military vehicle crashed into his car in the city of Tulkarem.
Local sources reported that an Israeli military vehicle struck the car of Fadi Merweh while he was driving along the street near Al-Quds Open University, causing injuries that required his transfer by a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance to Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital. His vehicle sustained severe damage.
According to the same sources, additional Israeli troops arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and conducted a sweep of the area.
Tulkarem continues to witness constant movement of Israeli military vehicles, which drive at high speeds through the city’s main streets—particularly toward the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps—and often against the flow of traffic, placing residents’ lives at risk.
This incident comes amid the ongoing Israeli assault on the city and its two refugee camps, now in its 336th consecutive day.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Beit Fajjar town and Al-Asakra area south of Bethlehem, Aboud town, northwest of Ramallah, and Beita town, south of Nablus, Doura town, south of Hebron, in addition to Qalqilia city and several surrounding areas, before they stormed and ransacked dozens of homes.
