Israeli forces carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, shooting and injuring a man east of Nablus and abducting several Palestinians in separate incidents spanning Tubas, Bethlehem, Ramallah, and occupied Jerusalem.

In Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, a 50‑year‑old man was shot in the foot with live ammunition when Israeli forces invaded the town.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medics treated the man before transferring him to a hospital.

Local sources reported that military vehicles pushed into the Al‑Hawouz area and opened live fire, wounding the resident.

At night, many Israeli military vehicles invaded various area in Beit Furik before the soldiers conducted extensive searches.

In the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the community and abducted four young men; Mahmoud Mohammad Taleb, Majed Mohammad Taleb, Nour Taleb Taleb, and Bilal Dabbak.

Earlier, Israeli forces abducted several Palestinian laborers in the Wadi Al‑Hummus area, located between Dar Salah to the east and Sur Baher in occupied Jerusalem. Media sources said the workers were pursued while attempting to reach their workplaces in the city.

In Al‑Ubeidiya, east of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded several neighborhoods, broke into two homes belonging to former political prisoners Hisham Dawoud Radaida and Shafiq Shanayta, and searched the properties. No abductions were reported.

Also in the Bethlehem area, Israeli forces installed a military roadblock under the area known as “the bridge,” the only main entrance leading toward Battir, Nahalin, Husan, and Wadi Fukin. Soldiers stopped vehicles, searched them, and examined residents’ identity cards, causing heavy traffic congestion.

In the central West Bank, Israeli forces detained several young men at the Ein Siniya military roadblock north of Ramallah.

Local sources said soldiers stopped vehicles in cold, rainy weather, checked passengers’ identity cards, and held a number of young men for field interrogation, creating a traffic jam.

Residents noted that the military has recently intensified its restrictions at the roadblock, frequently closing it and conducting extensive searches, especially during peak hours.

The harsh weather on Wednesday further compounded the difficulties faced by commuters.

The incidents reflect a continued escalation in Israeli military operations across the occupied West Bank, marked by invasions of towns, breaking into homes, abductions, and tightened restrictions at military roadblocks.
