A Palestinian young man died Sunday morning, less than one day after occupation soldiers shot him with live ammunition in the town of Doura, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 25-year-old Mohammad Jihad Masalmeh succumbed to critical injuries inflicted on him by Israeli soldiers in Doura town.

The young Masalmeh was shot in the abdomen with live rounds on Saturday evening, causing life-threatening injuries before medical treatment failed and his was pronounced dead.
In the afternoon, the slain man’s loved ones gathered in Doura town for the funeral procession before burying the body in the “Shamiya” cemetery.
WAFA correspondent reported that mourners carried the young man’s body wrapped in a Palestinian flag, marched through the streets to the family’s home and the Doura Mosque, before finally laying his body to rest in the “Shamiya” cemetery.
In related news, the family and friends of the slain Tamer Ismail Qaisiya, 19, participated in the funeral procession in the town of Ath-Thahiriya, southwest of Hebron.
Qaisiya died on Saturday, three days after Israeli settlers shot him multiple times with live ammunition while he was travelling in the Yatta desert, south of Hebron.
