On Saturday, a Palestinian citizen was forced to demolish his family’s home in the town of Silwan, in Jerusalem, while another citizen demolished his marble factory in the town of Kafr Thulth, southeast of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that in response to occupation authorities’ orders, the citizen Muhammad Atiya Al-Razem to demolish his house in the Wadi Qaddum neighborhood in Silwan town.
It added that the Israeli authorities ordered that Al-Razem demolish his 160-square-meter home which was built 26 years ago, under the pretext of not having a license.
Meanwhile, a second citizen was forced to demolish his industrial facility in the town of Kafr Thulth, southeast of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Media sources reported that the citizen Kamal Saeed Shawahneh demolished his 300-square-meter marble factory in Kafr Thulth, under the pretext of building without a license.
The sources added that Israeli occupation authorities ordered that Shawahneh demolish the facility himself and threatened to impose excessive fines if he did not.
