On Sunday night, at least fifteen Palestinians were injured when a rocket hit the Tulkarem refugee camp, in Tulkarem city, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Faisal Salama, head of the Popular Committee for Services in the Tulkarem refugee camp, stated that the rocket struck an abandoned house belonging to the Sheikh Ali family in the Harat al-Murabba’a area.

Salama added that among the injured were women, who sustained shrapnel wounds, and were treated at Thabet Thabet Government Hospital in Tulkarem.

Medical sources at the hospital said the injured Palestinians suffered mild to moderate wounds.

They added that several ambulances rushed to the refugee camp, which already has destroyed infrastructure due to constant Israeli invasions and the destruction of private property and infrastructure.

Media sources in Tulkarem said it remains unclear whether the rocket was fired from Lebanon or was an interception missile fired by the Israeli forces.
