The Israeli bombardment of Gaza continued nonstop on Saturday, following the deadliest week for Palestinians in Gaza since the Israeli military broke the ceasefire and began bombing Gaza again on March 18th, 2025.
Update 10:40 pm:
Five Palestinians were killed and a number of others injured on Saturday evening in an Israeli airstrike on a commercial store in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip. The death toll in the enclave on Saturday alone has risen to 52.

Rahaf, a traumatized Palestinian girl, witnessed her 80-year-old grandmother being killed in an Israeli attack on their home in northern Gaza today. She barely made it out alive herself, pulled from the rubble while dust still hung in the air.
Still in shock, she quietly shares her wishes: for the Israeli genocide to stop, for life to return to normal, and to eat molasses before bed like she used to:
Earlier, five civilians, including four women, were killed when the Israeli occupation forces bombed the home of the Al-Bayouk family in the town of Al-Fakhari, east of Khan Yunis. Two civilians were also killed in an occupation raid on the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city.

In a video posted to her social media, Dr Victoria Rose — a British surgeon volunteering at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, northern Gaza — said the “tent ward”, a collection of tents housing overflow patients who could not be admitted to the hospital, is now “absolutely full.”

Also Saturday, the World Food Programme (WFP) confirmed that looters seized 15 of its aid trucks in southern Gaza overnight — after Israel killed six police officers who were escorting the convoy.
According to Gaza’s media office and eyewitnesses, a police unit was securing the trucks when they encountered a group of looters. As the officers tried to stop the chaos, Israeli warplanes struck the area with multiple missiles, killing six officers and injuring 20 others. The convoy was on its way to a WFP warehouse in Deir al-Balah.
Following the airstrike and the loss of security, looters stormed the trucks and stole the aid, the WFP confirmed in an official statement.
