In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces abducted, on Saturday, four Palestinians, detained two children, and attacked the Nur Shams refugee camp.

On Saturday night, Israeli forces invaded a home in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and detained a seven-year-old child, identified as Abdullah Iyas Sabaana.


Earlier, the army invaded the towns of Ya’bad and Arraba, west and southwest of the city, erected a military roadblock between the towns, and conducted a wide-scale search operation.

Media sources added that they detained a Palestinian child, identified as Yousef Saabneh while he was in Ya’bad.

In related news, Israeli police abducted a resident of Jenin, identified as Uday Ahmed Hasis, while he was inside of Israel.

At dawn, occupation forces invaded the town of Silat ad-Dhahr and the village of Fandaqumiya, southwest of Jenin, and erected a military roadblock between them.

For the second consecutive day, Israeli soldiers carried out a wide-scale search operation, maintaining a strong presence in the area.

Tulkarem

In the northwestern part of the West Bank, a large Israeli army force invaded, at dawn, the city of Tulkarem and the Nur Shams refugee camp east of the city.

Media sources said that several military vehicles, including four bulldozers stormed Tulkarem from its western entrance and drove towards the Nur Shams camp.

Near the western entrance to the camp, the bulldozers razed a roundabout and destroyed several properties, while resistance fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army.


Bulldozers leveled an agricultural area in the camp, in addition to damaging a water line and an electrical transformer, which resulted in a power outage, and also disrupted internet services.

During the incursion, the army stormed several neighborhoods, and opened fire with live rounds, sparking protests among local Palestinians; no injuries were reported.

It was added that soldiers fired an “Energa” missile in the center of the camp without causing injuries, and shot a Palestinian Red Crescent Society ambulance.

In the nearby Iktaba suburb, occupation forces broke into and ransacked homes belonging to the Al-Khouli family, and subjected their residents to interrogation.

Qalqilia

In the predawn hours of Saturday, the army invaded the city of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank, stormed and searched several homes, and interrogated their residents.

Nablus

In the northern West Bank, Israeli troops abducted three Palestinian young men in the Nablus governorate, after invading and searching their homes.

At dawn, soldiers abducted Abdullah Al-Nabulsi in the city of Nablus, in addition to Adnan Abu Shusha and Hamza Muslim, from the new Askar refugee camp

According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 7,505 Palestinians since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
