On Saturday, the Israeli army continued its relentless bombing and shelling of various areas in the devastated Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of Palestinians, including many women and children.
Update 11:30 pm:
Six Palestinians, including three women, were killed on Saturday evening in Israeli shelling of western Gaza City, Beit Lahia and Sheikh Zayed, north of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a tent housing displaced persons inside the Social Insurance and Pensions Authority headquarters west of Gaza City, killing three women and wounding others.
The sources added that the occupation targeted a group of citizens in Sheikh Zayed City, north of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of two citizens.
A citizen was killed and others were injured when the occupation forces bombed a house in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Update 5:30 pm:
Medical sources reported that the army fired a missile at a tent housing a displaced family in a makeshift camp west of Gaza City, killing three women and injuring several Palestinians.
Additionally, two Palestinians were killed, and a few others injured, when the army targeted a charity camp in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
In northern Gaza, missiles struck displaced Palestinians in Sheikh Zayed City, killing at least two and wounding many others.
Another Palestinian was killed, and several were injured, in an Israeli airstrike on a home in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.
In Khan Younis, located in southern Gaza, the army shelled a home belonging to the family of Fathi Qdeih in Abasan Al-Jadeeda town, killing six Palestinians. Among the victims were Fathi’s wife, Fayez Hamdan Qdeih, Ala’ Hussein Qdeih, Mahmoud Fayez Qdeih, Hammouda Fathi Qdeih, and Hotheifa Salman Qdeih.
Furthermore, a missile targeted a donkey-drawn cart in Khan Younis, killing four Palestinians, including women, and injuring several others. The identified victims were Malek Abdullah Dahleez, Anwar Hamdi Hijazi, and Omran Al-Hamran.
In Mawasi Khan Younis, a missile struck a tent sheltering a displaced family, killing one Palestinian, Mustafa Al-Ghoul, and injuring several others.
In Rafah, located in the southernmost part of Gaza, the army shelled the Shaboura refugee camp and the Al-Barazil area, killing two children and wounding numerous Palestinians.
Medical sources confirmed that Mariya Moshel Zo’rob, 9, was killed, and five others, mostly children, were injured in the Shaboura refugee camp.
In the Al-Barazil area, another child, Abdullah Samer Sha’er, was killed, while his mother and sister sustained injuries.
Since the resumption of the genocide on Gaza on March 18, the Israeli army has killed at least 921 Palestinians and injured more than 2,054, primarily women and children, across the Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli bombing has resulted in staggering casualties since October 7, 2023, with at least 50,277 Palestinians killed, including 15,626 children, 9,804 women, 3,854 elderly individuals, 230 journalists, and 23 medics. Over 114,095 Palestinians, predominantly women, children, and the elderly, have been injured in various parts of the coastal enclave.
