The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has condemned the Israeli occupation’s deliberate bombing of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, which killed 21 Palestinians, including five journalists, medical personnel, and civil defense responders.
In an official statement issued Monday evening, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the attack as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and a continuation of Israel’s systematic targeting of protected civilian infrastructure.
The Kingdom expressed its outrage over the repeated assaults on medical, humanitarian, and media teams, calling for urgent international intervention to halt these crimes and ensure protection for frontline workers.

The bombing of Nasser Hospital, Gaza’s last functioning medical center in the south, was executed using a “double-tap” tactic. The first missile struck the hospital’s fourth floor. Minutes later, a second projectile targeted journalists and rescue teams responding to the scene. Among the victims were:
• Husam Al-Masry, Palestine TV cameraman.
• Mohammad Salama, Al Jazeera cameraman.
• Mariam Abu Daqqa, freelance journalist.
• Moaz Abu Taha, independent journalist.
• Ahmed Abu Aziz, contributor to local media outlets.
• Mohammad Al-Habibi, sixth-year medical student.
• Emad Al-Shaer, civil defense firefighter and father of three.
Dozens more were injured, and footage from the hospital showed journalists standing on the stairs moments before the second strike. The hospital, overwhelmed with over 1,000 patients and only 340 beds, is now on the brink of collapse.
The Saudi statement emphasized the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of Israel’s ongoing violations of international law and renewed its call for the international community to take decisive action.
It demanded accountability for the deliberate targeting of journalists, medics, and humanitarian workers, and stressed the urgent need to protect those documenting and responding to the unfolding genocide in Gaza.

The Palestinian Journalists Union described the bombing as a “horrific massacre” and a deliberate escalation in Israel’s war on free media.
It called on international media institutions and UN agencies to move beyond verbal condemnation and take concrete steps to protect Palestinian journalists, who are being systematically assassinated in the field.
Saudi Arabia reiterated that the continued silence of the international community amounts to complicity and demanded that Israeli leaders be held accountable as war criminals.
Spain joined Saudi Arabia and other governments in condemning the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the Nasser Medical Complex.
In an official statement, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: “The Spanish government condemns the Israeli attack on Nasser Hospital in Gaza. It is a flagrant and unacceptable violation of international humanitarian law and must be investigated.”
The ministry also reaffirmed Spain’s commitment to the right to access information, referencing the killing of journalists in the strike.
