Since Monday morning there have been several reports of harassment by Israeli colonizers against Palestinians in the West Bank resulting in property damage and loss as well as injury.
Monday, Oct. 9th
Hasan Mleihat, a rights activist, reported to Wafa News Agency on the morning of Monday Oct. 9th that 4 people were injured and their cars damaged when Israeli Colonizers threw rocks at their vehicles. They were traveling on a road between Jericho and Ramallah.
Monday Evening, in Kisan, near the West Bank city of Bethlehem, Mousa Abayet, Head of Kisan Village Council, told Wafa News Agency that Israeli Colonizers stole the the livestock and set fire to the tents of Mohammad Abdel Fattah Al-Shalalda and his wife. Their tent was located on Qanub area of the Sa’ir lands, to the north of Hebron, and used for the care of livestock. There were reports in the area of an Israeli colonizer driving recklessly in what appeared to be an attempt to run over a group of young men.
The director of the Office of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, Hassan Brijiyeh updated Wafa News Agency on Tuesday morning that the family of the couple said that they had not heard from Mohammad Abdel Fattah Al-Shalalda or his wife since the incident due to Israeli imposed closures. They are concerned for the couple’s safety after this violent attack. WAFA reports.
Tuesday, Oct. 10th
Local Sources in Kafr N’ima near the the city of Ramallah, made reports to Wafa of Israeli colonists attacking farmers and olive pickers in the Wadi Hamad area, resulting in their forcible exit from their farms. There was also a report of Israeli colonizers randomly opening fire on a youth village in Kafr N’ima.
In the village of Yanoun, south of Nablus, colonists attacked olive pickers harvesting their crops. Rashid Murrar told Wafa News Agency that colonizers attacked the farmers and opened fire on them, forcing the farmers to flee their land. He reported no injuries but said that violence from surrounding Israeli colonizer enclaves has increased. WAFA News Agency reports on Tuesday.
In Masafar Yatta, south of Hebron, a husband, wife and their two children were attacked by Israeli colonizers and left with bruises. Activist Fouad Ammor reported to Wafa News Agency that the colonizers attacked and beat the family in the cave where they reside. They went to the hospital for their injuries. Activists and local sources in the area say that Israeli colonizers often harrass, attack, and threaten to kill Palestinians that live in the area.
