Israeli military drones fired missiles at an area in northern Gaza on Friday evening, injuring six Palestinians near the Abu Sharkh roundabout in Jabalia.
Medical teams transferred all six to Al‑Shifa Medical Complex, where doctors described the wounds as ranging from moderate to mild.
The strike constituted yet another breach of the ceasefire framework, which ongoing Israeli military operations across the Strip have steadily eroded.

Field medics reported that the strike targeted a busy junction where displaced families and pedestrians frequently gather, adding that the continued presence of drones over northern Gaza has heightened fear among residents who have already endured months of bombardment, displacement, and the collapse of essential services.
Ambulance crews said they struggled to reach the area due to debris, damaged roads, and the absence of functioning street lighting.
Earlier in the day, health officials warned of escalating public‑health risks across Gaza as sanitation systems remain in near‑total collapse.
Municipal workers have been unable to operate waste‑collection vehicles due to fuel shortages and repeated Israeli invasions that destroyed infrastructure, leading to the spread of rodents and disease in densely populated displacement zones.
Despite the “ceasefire” announced on October 11, 2025, Israeli forces have continued to carry out airstrikes, drone attacks, artillery shelling, and incursions across multiple districts. These violations have resulted in hundreds of additional casualties and have prevented rescue teams from reaching victims trapped under collapsed homes.
On Thursday, a Palestinian woman was killed, a child was wounded, and a young man succumbed to critical wounds as Israeli forces intensified gunfire and artillery attacks across multiple areas of the devastated Gaza Strip, marking yet another escalation that has deepened civilian suffering under ongoing military assaults.
Since the “ceasefire” framework took effect on October 11, 2025, Israeli violations have killed 714 Palestinians and injured 1,940, while 756 bodies have been recovered from destroyed neighborhoods.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,289 Palestinians killed and 172,040 injured.
Medical crews continue to warn that the real number of casualties is likely higher, as many victims remain under rubble or in areas inaccessible to ambulances due to ongoing Israeli fire and the destruction of roads.
