A local source said troops were positioned in the Al‑Shuli area on the main road leading to Battir, Nahalin, Husan, and Wadi Fukin, where they stopped vehicles, searched them, and inspected the IDs of Palestinian civilians, causing a severe traffic jam.
Residents noted that Israeli forces have intensified restrictions on the western Bethlehem villages in recent weeks, including repeated internal closures inside single population centers such as Husan.
