On Sunday, Israeli soldiers abducted two young Palestinian men from Hebron and caused many Palestinians, including children, to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the army invaded Beit Ummar town, north of the city, before storming and ransacking several homes.
Local sources said the soldiers interrogated many young men while inspecting their ID cards before abducting two young men from the families of Abu Maria and Al-‘Allami.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at the Palestinians and surrounding shops.
The invasion was mainly focused on the area around the Big Mosque and the Al-Baloa’ area; medical sources said many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The invasion of Al-Khader is the second on Sunday, as the soldiers invaded the town when schoolchildren were leaving their schools, causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
In related news, the army killed a Palestinian child and injured another, on Sunday, in the town of Halhul, north of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
Medical sources added that soldiers killed the child, Naji Nidal Al-Baba, 16, after shooting him with live ammunition.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli the army abducted at least eighteen Palestinians from the occupied West Bank since Saturday night and until Sunday afternoon, including a child and former political prisoners. The army also conducted field interrogations of dozens in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron.
