On Friday, Israeli soldiers attacked many Palestinians and international activists and abducted two internationals during a nonviolent procession demanding the army to reopen a vital road south of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Local nonviolent activist, Osama Makhamra, said the Palestinians and international marched in Masafer Yatta, demanding the army to reopen the road before the soldiers attacked them.
Makhamra added that the soldiers prevented local council workers from rehabilitating and reopening the road and assaulted nonviolent activists before detaining two internationals.
In related news, illegal Israeli colonizers brought their sheep to graze on Palestinian lands in the Samra area in Masafer Yatta, causing damage to hundreds of trees.
The colonizers have been invading Palestinian lands and bringing their sheep to graze on lands owned by the local Makhamra, Jabarin, and Abu Fanar families, causing damage to almond and olive trees and grapevines.
