Two Palestinian workers from Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, sustained fractures and injuries on Wednesday after being assaulted by Israeli occupation forces in the town of ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Media sources said the workers were attacked during a military invasion targeting laborers near the illegal Israeli annexation and expansion wall.
They added that both victims suffered cuts and bruises and were transferred to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah for treatment.
This attack is part of a broader pattern of escalating violence against Palestinian laborers. In recent months, hundreds of workers have been subjected to lethal force, arbitrary detention, and physical abuse by Israeli military and police units—often under the pretext of lacking Israeli-issued permits.
Earlier Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces invaded the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron, located in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, detaining dozens of Palestinians, assaulting them, and subjecting them to field interrogations.
