Local sources added that the army brought a Palestinian detainee from an Israeli prison into the refugee camp and used him as a human shield during the invasion.

Soldiers also invaded the Shweika neighborhood and the towns of Qaffin and Saida, breaking into homes, damaging property, interrogating residents, and seizing a vehicle belonging to former detainee Lu’ay al‑Ashqar after invading his home in Sida.
In the northeastern West Bank, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers uprooted several olive saplings and destroyed an irrigation network in Khirbet Yarza, east of Tubas.
The head of the local council reported that the colonizers targeted land belonging to resident Jihad Masa‘id, damaging olive trees and a thyme farm.
He added that eleven Palestinian families had been forced to leave the area in recent days due to repeated colonizer attacks, which included assaults on residents and international volunteers, the destruction of homes and livestock shelters, the vandalism and theft of solar panels and surveillance cameras, and the burning of vehicles and residential structures.
