Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian man on Sunday evening at the Etzion junction south of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health has confirmed.

The ministry said it was officially informed by the Civil Affairs Authority of the killing of Amjad Jawad Abdul‑Fattah Natsha, 31, from Hebron in the southern West Bank, after Israeli forces opened fire on him at the heavily militarized junction.

Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces immediately sealed off the area following the shooting, preventing access, and blocking movement.

Israeli media outlets reported that Natsha was killed after allegedly injuring several Israelis in what they described as a “ramming attack” at the Gush Etzion junction.

The Israeli outlet Ynet published images showing the man’s vehicle severely damaged at the scene and quoted emergency teams from Magen David Adom as saying that a 17‑year‑old girl sustained serious injuries, while a 15‑year‑old girl was lightly wounded.

Hours after killing the Palestinian, dozens of soldiers invaded and ransacked his home in Hebron city.

Earlier on Sunday, Emad Haroun Shtayyeh, 26, from the village of Salem east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, died from wounds sustained when Israeli forces shot him near the illegal Annexation Wall in the town of Ar‑Ram Wall north of occupied Jerusalem. He had been struck by live fire in the thigh, causing severe internal bleeding.

In related news, the soldiers shot a young Palestinian man on Sunday in the occupied West Bank after opening fire at his vehicle between the Thannaba neighborhood and the Al‑Salam area east of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank.

The past several weeks have seen intensified invasions, shootings, abductions, and attacks by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers across West Bank districts, resulting in the killing of numerous Palestinians and the injury and abduction of dozens more.

65 Palestinians, including 15 children and one journalist, have been killed this year in the occupied West Bank, among them 17 who were killed by paramilitary Israeli colonizers.
