A Palestinian man was injured on Monday evening after Israeli forces opened fire in the Wadi al-Hummus area, northeast of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Mohammad Allan, head of Ambulance Services in al-‘Ubeidiya town, said his team treated a man in his thirties who had been shot with live ammunition in the thigh and both legs.

He added that the man suffered fractures and additional wounds across his body before Palestinian medics transferred him to a hospital for treatment.

The man was injured after the army invaded the area, leading to protests, before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at random.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded the town of Anata, northeast of the city, deploying military vehicles through its streets.

Israeli forces also invaded the towns of ‘Illar and Seida, north of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, where they deployed military vehicles along the main streets and conducted foot patrols.

The movement of residents and vehicles was disrupted amid extensive searches, with no arrests reported.

In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the Israeli military carried out one of the largest evening invasions in recent weeks, storming the eastern part of the city with more than fifty military vehicles and a bulldozer, advancing from the ‘Awarta and Huwwara military roadblocks.

The invasion was conducted to secure the entry of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers to Joseph’s Tomb, and soldiers forced a family to evacuate their home on Amman Street before occupying the property.
