On Thursday night Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man and assaulted another in Dura town, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank. A number of citizens sustained injuries as a result of tear gas inhalation in the town of Al-Bireh, in the central West Bank and the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Dura, and deployed infantry units in several neighborhoods, firing live ammunition, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters in the Al-Namous neighborhood.


He added that the soldiers shot one young man with live ammunition during the incursion, and assaulted another.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the army prevented ambulance crews from approaching for 30 minutes before they were able to transport the wounded man to the hospital.


Meanwhile, a number of citizens suffered injuries on Thursday night after Israeli forces invaded the city of Al-Bireh, in the central West Bank.

The PRCS reported that its ambulance crews provided first aid to six citizens who sustained inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure.

Furthermore, after storming the outskirts of the Qalandia refugee camp, occupation forces fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at citizens and vehicles, resulting in a number of injuries.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the army invaded a residential building on the main street adjacent to the Qalandia camp, firing tear gas canisters and concussion grenades.

Media sources said that soldiers fired a tear gas canister which landed in a citizen’s vehicle, causing its occupants to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
