On Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian after the army invaded Qaffin town north of Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part.
Media sources said several military vehicles invaded the town, leading to protests before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
They added that the soldiers shot a young man, 18, with a live round in the leg before the medics rushed him to a hospital in Tulkarem.
The soldiers invaded many neighborhoods and tried to ambush several Palestinians but were unable to abduct any of them.
In addition, the soldiers invaded Nazlet Issa town, north of Tulkarem, stopped and searched many cars, and interrogated scores of Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards, in addition to invading and searching several stores.
