On Sunday, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man, west of the Shweika suburb, north of Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part.
Media sources said the soldiers chased several Palestinian workers near the illegal Annexation Wall and opened fire at them.
They added that the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the chest, causing moderate wounds.
It is worth mentioning that, overnight and during early morning hours, the soldiers abducted at least twenty Palestinians, including children, students, and former political prisoners, from their homes in several parts of the West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said most of the abducted Palestinians were taken prisoners in the Hebron governorate, in the southern parts of the West Bank, and that the abductions were also carried out in Nablus, Ramallah, Qalqilia, Jericho, and Tubas, and included assaults on the abductees, and threats against them and their families, in addition to massive destruction of property.
