On Thursday afternoon, Israeli soldiers shot and abducted a young Palestinian man at a military roadblock at the main entrance of the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired live rounds at the young man while trying to cross the military roadblock.

They added that the soldiers shot the young man in both his legs, and prevented Palestinian medics from reaching him, before abducting him.

The army closed the military roadblock, and many army jeeps invaded the refugee camp, leading to protests.

The Israeli army claimed the soldiers fired at the Palestinians after he “failed to comply with their orders.”

Overnight, Israeli soldiers abducted at least 12 Palestinians, including children and former political prisoners, from their homes in various parts of the occupied West Bank.
