On Saturday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man in Burqa town, and colonizers assaulted citizens in the village of Al-Lubban Al-Gharbi, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah.

Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man, on Saturday, while illegal colonizers burned an agricultural room in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.


Media sources said that a group of armed paramilitary settlers stormed Burqa village, on Saturday evening, under the protection of Israeli forces.

Sources added colonizers opened fire at citizens with live rounds and burned an agricultural room, before locals attempted to confront the attacking settlers.

Occupation forces opened fire at Palestinians who tried to protect their property, shooting a young man in the leg with live ammunition; the severity of his injury was not known at the time of writing this report.

Meanwhile, northwest of Ramallah, a group of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers and forced them to leave their lands in the village of Al-Lubban Al-Gharbi.

Media sources said that a group of colonizers, under the protection of the army, and assaulted Palestinian farmers who were harvesting olives, forcing them off their own lands, injuring citizens.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said their ambulance crews transported two citizens to hospital after they sustained injuries as a result of the attack.


Furthermore, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, sparking protests with local Palestinians.

Media sources said that the army stormed the town and fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens; no injuries were reported.

In related news, on Saturday night, Israeli soldiers stormed the village of Marda, north of Salfit in the central part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces stopped and searched several citizens’ vehicles, threatening them with physical violence under the pretext of allegedly throwing stones at settlers’ vehicles.
