Israeli occupation forces invaded ar-Ram town, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, on Wednesday evening and shot a young Palestinian man.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), its medical teams treated the man for a live bullet wound to the leg and transferred him to a hospital.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces pursued a group of Palestinian workers near a section of the illegal Israeli Annexation Wall, opened fire, and injured one of them.

Since the beginning of this year, at least 15 Palestinian workers have been killed by Israeli forces—either shot, fatally injured during pursuit inside the 1948-occupied territories, or by falling from the Annexation Wall—according to data from the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions.

In recent months, hundreds of workers have been arrested and subjected to abuse by Israeli police under the pretext of lacking work permits.

Since October 2023, the Federation has documented the killing of 42 workers and more than 32,000 arrests targeting Palestinian laborers seeking to provide for their families.
