On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Deir Ghazala village, northeast of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern region, injuring three Palestinians and abducting a father, his wife, and their son. The army also abducted another Palestinian in Jalbun town, east of Jenin.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the soldiers prevented its ambulances from entering the town, before later allowing them through.
The PRCS said its medics transported two Palestinians to a hospital in Nablus after the soldiers shot them with live rounds—one in the lower back and the other in the thigh. One of the wounded Palestinians was shot by undercover soldiers while inside his car.
The PRCS added that its medics treated another Palestinian who was injured and transferred him to a hospital after the soldiers assaulted him, causing multiple lacerations and bruises.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Raed Tawalba, his wife, and their son, Jihad, after surrounding and breaking into their home.
It is worth noting that the invasion was initially carried out by undercover soldiers driving a car with Palestinian license plates, before several Israeli military jeeps entered the village.
In related news, the army invaded Jalbun town, east of Jenin, before abducting a young man, Ribal Khalil Abu ar-Rob.
Jalbun is subject to constant Israeli invasions and violations, and some of its invaded homes are turned into military posts. Two days ago, the army issued an order confiscating 120 Dunams of the villagers farmlands.
Also on Tuesday evening, Israeli forces killed Mohammad Hassan Hosni Abu Hammad, 41, after shooting him near the town of Al-Eizariya, east of occupied Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.
Before dawn Tuesday, Israeli forces assassinated a Palestinian young man and injured others before dawn Tuesday, after special forces besieged a commercial shop in the city of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces executed the young man, Baraa Saleh Khalil Yousef Maskawi, 19, during a stand off and heavy gunfire after special forces besieged and bombed a shop in Qalqilia city.
The number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of this year is now 111; 49 in Jenin, 19 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 13 in Nablus, 5 in Hebron, 3 in Bethlehem, 2 in Qalqilia, 1 in Salfit, 1 in Ramallah, and 3 in Jerusalem.
