On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinians with live ammunition and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in the towns of Qalandia and ar-Ram, located north and northeast of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

Palestinian medics reported that a young man was shot in the leg in Qalandia, where Israeli forces also fired a barrage of tear gas canisters toward homes near the illegal Annexation Wall. The attack caused widespread gas exposure among residents, many of whom were treated on site for breathing difficulties.

In a separate incident, the soldiers shot another young man with a live round in the thigh near a section of the Annexation Wall in ar-Ram.

Both victims, wounded by live fire, were transferred to Palestinian medical centers for further treatment.

Israeli forces have repeatedly targeted neighborhoods adjacent to the Annexation Wall, exposing civilians to toxic gas and live fire, and placing homes and lives at risk.

These assaults have intensified the daily hardship of families living in the area, many of whom already face movement restrictions, economic strain, and limited access to essential services due to the Wall, military closures, and ongoing violations.
