On Tuesday, Israeli forces shot at least two Palestinians with live rounds in the town of Halhul, north of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank. The army also invaded the towns of Doura, Beit Awwa, Ethna, Sa’ir, Beit Ummar, and the Al-Fawwar refugee camp in the Hebron governorate.

Medical sources at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron reported that two Palestinian young men arrived at the hospital suffering from live gunshot wounds.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the town of Halhul and opened fire with live ammunition and tear gas canisters, shooting a young man in the abdomen and leg with live rounds; the Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the young man was critically injured.

Sources added that soldiers shot a second young man in the leg with live round, sustaining a moderate injury, according to the Health Ministry. Additionally some citizens suffered inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure.

Meanwhile, the army stormed the town of Doura, southwest of Hebron, detained and harassed citizens, and seized privately-owned vehicles.


Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the town, erected military roadblocks, detained and harassed Palestinian citizens, seized vehicles, and forced shop owners to close their businesses.


Furthermore, Israeli forces invaded the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of the city, and occupied a residential building.

Furthermore, the army invaded the town of Beit Awwa, west of the city, harassed Palestinian citizens, and climbed on the rooftops of civilian homes.

Media sources reported that occupation forces continued its invasion of the town of Ethna, west of Hebron, since Monday night, storming several neighborhoods in the town, expelling a Palestinian family from their home and converting it into military barracks.


Sources added that the army obstructed the movement of citizens and opened fire with tear gas canisters and concussion grenades, causing a child to suffer fractures in his hand as a result of being struck with a tear gas canister; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

In related news, the army invaded the city of Hebron, and the towns of Beit Ummar and Sa’ir, north and northeast of Hebron, abducted one citizen and confiscated a vehicle.

Media sources said that Israeli soldiers stormed the Beit Za’ta neighborhood in Beit Ummar town, invaded several citizens’ homes, and abducted Yousef Muhammad Hammad Abu Maria, 36, after ransacking his home.

The sources added that the army invaded many citizens’ homes in the city of Hebron and confiscated a vehicle owned by the citizen, Thaer Abdul Ghaith.
