As the first night of Eid begins today, Gaza continues to suffer the ravages of the Israeli aggression without the world taking any action.

Hours before the Eid prayer, the occupation launched several airstrikes on Gaza, its south and north, resulting in deaths and injuries.

On the ground, residents are suffering from the lack of the most basic necessities of life, such as gas, electricity, and water, in addition to food shortages and high prices.

While the Muslim world exchanges Eid greetings, the people of the Gaza Strip exchange condolences, sympathy, and grief among themselves. The children of Gaza suffer from the loss of their rights to life, education, health, and safety, and they will suffer from the loss of the joy of Eid. At a time when Eid prayers will be held, clothes will be bought for children, sweets will be exchanged, and visits will take place, Gaza will perform the funeral prayer, dress its children in shrouds, and visits will be cut off due to the ongoing aggression.

Meanwhile, 9,500 Palestinian prisoners will spend Eid in Israeli prisons amid escalating violations

This includes 350 children, 22 female prisoners, and 3,405 administrative detainees, facing organized and systematic crimes.

The Israeli occupation’s crimes have reached their peak since the genocidal war, resulting in the martyrdom of dozens of prisoners.

According to the Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Prisoners’ Club, the identities of 63 of them have been identified, including 40 from Gaza. Many of the killed prisoners from Gaza remain subject to enforced disappearance.

The Israeli occupation has been conducting daily arrest campaigns, totaling approximately 15,700 cases in the West Bank since the beginning of the war of extermination.

The number of abducted women arrested has reached more than 500, not including female detainees from Gaza.
