The Israeli army continued its violations of the “ceasefire agreement” across several parts of the devastated Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing seven Palestinians, including a child, and wounding many others.
A medical source at Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, said Mohammad Majed Abu Sanida was confirmed dead from wounds he sustained a day earlier when Israeli forces bombarded the northwestern area of Khan Younis city.
The sources stated that Abu Sanida was collecting wood for cooking with his friend when the army fired a missile at them.
At the time of the bombing, medics were only able to retrieve the body of one slain Palestinian due to constant Israeli attacks. Emergency crews returned to the area Sunday morning and retrieved Abu Sanida’s body.
Abu Sanida’s death brings the number of Palestinians killed in the past 24 hours to seven, in addition to more than eleven injuries.
Several Palestinian journalists were also injured while documenting Israeli airstrikes targeting the Sabra neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
