Several civilians, including children and women, were killed and wounded on Sunday night in Israeli airstrikes and heavy artillery shelling on areas east of Rafah, Gaza City, and Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Palestinian residents were forced to leave areas in Deir al-Balah after receiving military threats that they would be targeted.
A WAFAnews correspondent reported that six citizens, most of them children, were killed and others were injured when Israeli warplanes bombed a house on Al-Mekanikiya Street in the center of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip .
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled the northeastern areas of Rafah, destroying several buildings with explosives. Israeli warplanes and artillery targeted areas east of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, wounding several civilians.

In the same context, the Israeli occupation authorities warned hundreds of citizens in the neighborhoods of Al-Sahaba, Al-Samah, Al-Awda, Al-Zawaida, and Al-Salah in Deir Al-Balah city of the need to evacuate immediately and head south to the supposed shelters in the Al-Mawasi area, in preparation for bombing them.
