Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions, home searches, abductions, school closures, and assaults across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, targeting communities in Bethlehem, occupied Jerusalem, Hebron, Ramallah, Tubas, Salfit, Jericho, Qalqilia, Tulkarem, and Nablus.
In Bethlehem, soldiers invaded the town of Tuqu’, southeast of the city, deploying across several neighborhoods and breaking into the homes of Mohammad Mahmoud Al‑Amour and Yousef Ahmad Abu Mofarreh.
During the invasion, the soldiers abducted four young men and confiscated a Palestinian car before withdrawing.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Husan town, west of Bethlehem, and abducted a child, Abdul-Aziz Hamamra.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli authorities shut down the Noor Al‑Quds schools and kindergartens in the Ras al‑Amoud neighborhood of Silwan, forcing students to relocate without notifying families or obtaining consent.
Later in the day, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams treated two Palestinians shot with live ammunition near the Annexation Wall in Al‑Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, before transferring them to hospital.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded several areas across the governorate and abducted five Palestinians after breaking into their homes, searching them, and assaulting the residents.
Those abducted were Rashid Abu Hadid from Hebron city, Ala’ Issa Amro from Dura, Mohammad Ghaleb D’eis from Bani Na’im, Mahdi Ali Khalil from Halhoul, and Abdul‑Rahman Ahmad Jawabra from Al‑Arroub refugee camp.
In Halhul, many Israeli military vehicles invaded the town to accompany colonizers’ buses into an archeological area, while the soldiers closed streets and obstructed Palestinian traffic.
In Surif, northwest of Hebron, soldiers invaded multiple homes belonging to the Al‑Masri family.
Israeli forces also installed military roadblocks at the entrances of Hebron city, its towns, villages, and refugee camps, and closed several main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Silwad before dawn and abducted four young men—Yazan Jaafar Sobeh, Ahmad Mohammad Hamed, Mohammad Saleh Hamed, and Ibrahim Yasser Harraz—after breaking into their family homes and violently searching them.
Later in the day, soldiers invaded Silwad again, firing stun grenades and deploying along the Al‑Bassa road before withdrawing toward the junction of Al‑Mazra’a Al‑Sharqiya.
Israeli forces then invaded Al‑Mazra’a Al‑Sharqiya, while confrontations erupted in Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah.
In Ni’lin town, west of Ramallah, the soldiers abducted a young man after forcing him from his car and interrogating him while inspecting his ID card.
Soldiers chased a vehicle in Turmus Ayya, broke into a home and several shops, and seized surveillance recordings. Several young men were detained inside a shop, but no abductions were reported.
Furthermore, many Israeli military vehicles invaded Al-Mughayyir village, northeast or Ramallah, and initiated extensive searches.
Ramallah and Al‑Bireh governorate continues to experience near‑daily invasions, confrontations, and the firing of stun grenades and tear gas.
Earlier Sunday, Israeli forces closed the iron gate at the entrance of Atara, north of Ramallah, causing severe traffic congestion and forcing residents to take long detours.
In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Atouf and searched Palestinian homes and agricultural greenhouses. Local official Mo’taz Bisharat confirmed extensive searches throughout the morning.
In Salfit, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Bruqin before dawn and abducted two Palestinians, Taysir Samara and Hamid Samara, after breaking into their homes and searching them.
In Jericho, in northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, south of the city, broke into the home of former political prisoner Ramzi Fawaz Balhan, and assaulted two young men, causing injuries that required medical intervention.
Soldiers also closed a road near the Wadi al‑Qelt junction west of the camp with earth mounds.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city before dawn from its southern entrance and deployed in the Al‑Birin area, where they broke into an uninhabited building and searched it.
Furthermore, several military vehicles invaded Azzun town, east of Qalqilia, before the soldiers stopped a Palestinian Taxi and abducted its driver
On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a 19‑year‑old Palestinian man in the leg with a live round after several military vehicles renewed the invasion of the city.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its teams treated three Palestinians injured after colonizers assaulted residents in Beit Lid, east of the city.
The injured were given first aid and transferred to hospital, where their injuries were described as moderate.
Several military vehicles invaded Attil town, north of Tulkarem, before the soldiers invaded an apartment building and initiated massive searches.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Qabatia town, south of teh city, and closed streets, leading to protests, before shooting a teenage boy.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the villages of Odala, Madama and Azmut, firing flares, toxic gas canisters and flares in Odala and seizing a vehicle, while in Azmut soldiers invaded the Al‑Hawouz area and searched the surroundings.
Also in Nablus, a young Palestinian man was injured after an Israeli colonizer rammed him with his car on Amman Street.
