Updated: On Sunday, Day 681 of the ongoing genocide, Israeli occupation forces continue their genocidal war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of residents across the devastated, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip.
Sources in Gaza hospitals reported that 57 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the southern Gaza Strip since dawn, including 38 aid seekers who were shot by Israeli snipers and US mercenaries while trying to obtain aid for their starving families.
The Israeli occupation continues to deliberately target civilians, increasing human losses and worsening the suffering of the population amid the ongoing blockade and scarcity of food and humanitarian aid.
Rawan, the 3 month old baby whose image is featured above, was killed late Saturday night along with her parents and every member of her family in an Israeli airstrike that hit their tent in the al-Mawasi refugee camp, which was set up and declared by Israel in 2024 to be a ‘safe zone’ for displaced Palestinians to go to, but which has been repeatedly targeted by Israeli airstrikes nearly every day.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an aggression on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 61,944 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 155,886 others, in a preliminary toll, as a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
The ongoing destruction of al-Zaytoun, one of Gaza City’s oldest areas, with some structures dating back thousands of years, is still ongoing since August 11, 2025. Israeli forces are systematically erasing the entire area, as they have been doing for the past several months to the city of Rafah, in southern Gaza. After having cleared the area of its residents, forcing them into crowded refugee camps in the west of Gaza City, the Israeli military has been subjecting al-Zaytoun to relentless bombardment and the use of weaponized robots to demolish homes, with nearly 400 residential structures already destroyed (more details below, in this morning’s report).
The following attacks by Israeli forces operating against the entire civilian population in the Gaza Strip were documented on Sunday by local sources:
10:30 pm
Three Palestinians were killed and eight others injured on Sunday evening in Israeli shelling of Al-Bureij refugee camp, central Gaza Strip.
A Wafa news correspondent reported that the bombing targeted a gathering of civilians in the Block 3 area of the Bureij camp, adding that the bodies of the killed and the wounded were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat.
8:17 pm
Al-Saraya Field Hospital received on Sunday evening more than 40 injured Palestinian civilians who were waiting for aid in the northwest of the Gaza Strip when they were shot at by Israeli troops.
A medical source had previously reported that two Palestinian citizens were killed and several others were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the Zikim area, northwest of the Gaza Strip. A young man was also killed as a result of an airstrike that targeted the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
5:47 pm
A number of Palestinian citizens, including two aid seekers, were killed on Sunday evening by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fire in the northern Gaza Strip.
A medical source reported that two Palestinian citizens were killed and several others were injured by Israeli forces’ fire while seeking aid in the Zikim area, northwest of the Gaza Strip.
A young man was also killed as a result of the occupation forces’ bombing of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

In Israel on Sunday, hundreds of thousands of Israelis continued their large-scale demonstrations in dozens of Israeli towns and cities, especially Tel Aviv, to demand an end to the aggression on Gaza and the return of the detainees. Israeli government ministers and officials have launched an attack on the protests, with demonstrators accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of deceiving the public, misleading public opinion, and insulting the families of the hostages.

The Euro-Med has sounded the alarm over Israel’s escalating military campaign in Gaza City, where occupation forces have begun razing the Zeitoun, its largest and most densely populated neighborhood.
Since August 11, the area has been subjected to relentless bombardment and the use of weaponized robots to demolish homes, with nearly 400 residential structures already destroyed.
This assault marks a new phase in Israel’s broader strategy to dismantle Gaza’s urban centers. The destruction of Zeitoun follows similar operations in Rafah, Khan Younis, and the northern governorates, signaling a systematic effort to depopulate and fragment the Strip. Drones have encircled residential blocks, forcing families to evacuate under direct threat, often without safe passage or shelter.
Meanwhile, the death toll from starvation in the Gaza Strip continues to rise. On Saturday, the Ministry of Health announced that 11 more Palestinians, including one child, had died as a result of famine and severe malnutrition.
This brings the total number of starvation-related deaths since the beginning of the war to 251, among them 108 children.
The figures reflect the catastrophic impact of the ongoing siege and the deliberate obstruction of humanitarian aid, which has left entire communities without access to food, clean water, or medical care.
Health officials warn that the crisis is deepening by the day, with vulnerable populations—especially children—bearing the brunt of Israel’s blockade and military aggression.

Human rights observers warn that the offensive is not merely tactical but part of a declared plan to assert full control over Gaza City and forcibly relocate its inhabitants to confined zones in the southern Strip. The scale and speed of the destruction suggest a deliberate attempt to erase entire communities, with grave implications for civilian safety and regional stability.
As the genocide continues Euro-Med cautions that Gaza’s central governorate may soon face mass atrocities on a scale not yet seen in the conflict, urging immediate international intervention to halt what it describes as a campaign of collective punishment and forced displacement.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has condemned the joint Israeli-American “aid system” in Gaza, stating that it brings chaos and death rather than relief.

According to UNRWA, one of the driving factors behind the deepening famine in Gaza is the attempt to replace the internationally coordinated humanitarian framework with a politically motivated entity known as the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.”
This shift, the agency warns, strips humanitarian aid of its neutrality and humanity, turning it into a tool of control and exclusion.
UNRWA emphasized that the current aid mechanism undermines the principles of international humanitarian law and exacerbates the suffering of civilians.
The agency called for an immediate return to a unified, UN-led coordination and distribution system, one grounded in legal obligations and designed to protect life, dignity, and impartiality in the delivery of aid.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have waged a systematic campaign of extermination against the Palestinian population in Gaza. The ongoing assault has so far claimed the lives of at least 61,897 Palestinians, including more than 17,341 children, 10,2015 women, and 237 journalists, injured at least 155,660 others, largely children, women, and elderly.
These figures remain incomplete, as countless victims remain trapped beneath the rubble or lie in the streets, unreachable by emergency and rescue teams due to the relentless bombardment and siege.
