For the 172nd consecutive day, Israel continued its violations of the “ceasefire and de‑escalation” agreement in the Gaza Strip, carrying out artillery and air strikes alongside gunfire from military vehicles and naval boats across multiple areas of the besieged enclave, killing three Palestinians and wounding several others at dawn on Monday after striking an area southeast of Gaza City.

Medical sources have confirmed that three civilians were killed and others sustained injuries, including critical wounds, when Israeli aircraft targeted a group of Palestinians near the Shafi’i Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

The sources said the Palestinians were killed in an attack by an Israeli drone that bombed the Asqoula junction area of the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

The attack came less than 24 hours after Israeli airstrikes on Sunday targeted areas near two police posts and another location in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, killing nine Palestinians, including a girl, and wounding four others.

The violations also included the demolition and detonation of residential buildings and civilian structures in various parts of the Strip, as part of Israel’s ongoing policy of destruction in areas under its control.

In additional field developments, the Israeli army carried out demolition operations targeting buildings and facilities within the areas it controls east of what is known as the “Yellow Line,” east of the Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

Israeli artillery simultaneously shelled areas east of Deir al‑Balah and Khan Younis in the central and southern parts of the Strip, intensifying bombardment along several frontlines.

Since the start of the “ceasefire” agreement on October 11, 2025, the cumulative number of Palestinians killed has risen to 705, while the number of wounded has reached 1,913, in addition to 756 bodies recovered from various areas—many from locations that rescue teams were unable to access for days due to ongoing Israeli fire and destroyed roads.

Meanwhile, medical authorities in the Gaza Strip stated that the overall toll of the genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has climbed to 72,281 Palestinians killed and 172,013 wounded. The numbers are expected to continue rising as bombardment persists, and many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble.
