Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank at dawn Thursday, breaking into homes, assaulting families, and abducting multiple Palestinians from several districts.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem, where they deployed in several neighborhoods and broke into the home of journalist Hassan Abdel‑Jawad of Al‑Ayyam newspaper.
Abdel‑Jawad told reporters that soldiers assaulted members of his family, photographed the house from the inside and outside, and caused extensive damage to its contents.
The soldiers also broke into the homes of Yousef al‑Lahham and Khaled al‑Sharif in the refugee camp, searching the properties and ransacking their belongings.
Israeli forces further invaded the city of Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem, in addition to the town of Al‑Khader, south of the city, and the village of Abu Njeim, southwest of the city.
In the Hebron district in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted four Palestinians, including a woman.
Media sources said the army invaded the Al‑Fawwar refugee camp and the town of Ath-Thaheriya, broke into several homes, and ransacked them before abducting Mohammad Jamal Abu Awad and Du’aa Ismail al‑Battat.
From the Al‑Arroub refugee camp and the town of Beit Ummar to the north, soldiers abducted 17‑year‑old Majdi Wael al‑Badawi.
They also abducted Nadim Abdel‑Jawad Khalil while he was passing through the “Container” military roadblock southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Zeita Jamma’in southwest of Nablus, the town of Jamma’in to the south, and the village of Deir al‑Hatab to the east. Soldiers broke into several homes, searched them, and caused extensive damage before abducting Dirar Jamous from Zeita Jamma’in.
In the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted two Palestinians from the city of Tulkarem after invading the city at dawn.
Local sources said the army broke into the homes of Mohammad Hamdan Bdeir, 26, and Omar Istitiyeh, 32, before abducting them.
In the Jericho district in the eastern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp south of the city, and abducted Diya’ al‑Jamal after breaking into and searching his home.
In addition, Israeli forces abducted a public transportation driver from the town of Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem, after stopping his vehicle at the “Ein Siniya” military roadblock near Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
Soldiers held him and the passengers inside the vehicle for an extended period before taking him to an undisclosed location.
These invasions are part of the ongoing escalation across the occupied West Bank, where Israeli forces continue to invade Palestinian communities, break into homes, and abduct residents on a near‑daily basis.
