On Thursday, the Israeli army continued the bombing of various parts of the destroyed Gaza Strip, killing and wounded dozens of Palestinians, including children and women.

On Thursday evening, two Palestinians were killed when the army fired a missile at a junction in Mawasi Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, causing several injuries.

The army also fired a shell at a tent housing a displaced family in Khan Younis, resulting in several injuries.

The Israeli army fired barrages of live rounds at areas in the eastern part of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.

Medical sources stated that a child, Elia’ Mohammad Abu Teir, was killed, and her family was injured when the army bombarded their home in Abasan Al-Kabira town.

In Rafah, located in Gaza’s southernmost part, the army fired shells at a junction in the eastern part of the city, killing two Palestinians and causing several injuries.

Furthermore, the army fired multiple shells and missiles at the Surani Mountain area, east of the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Seven Palestinians were killed, and several others were injured in an Israeli bombing of Nafaq Street, in the center of Gaza City.

Additionally, one Palestinian with special needs was killed when the army bombarded his home in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City, while a young man succumbed to serious wounds he sustained earlier when the army bombarded a home in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of the city.

In Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, at least twelve Palestinians were killed, and many others were injured when the army bombarded a home.

In related news, the World Central Kitchen announced on Thursday evening the death of one of its volunteers and the injury of six others in an Israeli airstrike near one of its kitchens during meal distribution in Gaza.

In a post on the “X,” the organization stated: “Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the loss of one of our volunteers in Gaza. Israeli strikes hit near one of our WCK-supported community kitchens just as meals were being distributed. Jalal was tragically killed, and six other people were injured. We will continue to support community kitchens throughout the region and operate our field kitchens where possible, based on daily assessments. We hope for peace for all and a lasting ceasefire.”

Palestinian medical sources reported that Israeli missiles and shells killed at least 38 Palestinians, including 30 in northern Gaza, and injured dozens in the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, stated that no humanitarian aid has entered Gaza for over three weeks. This marks the longest period the region has endured without supplies since the start of the ongoing Israeli war of annihilation.

In a statement issued on Thursday evening, Lazzarini revealed that eight UNRWA staff members were killed by Israeli fire in Gaza over the past week.

The UN official warned that “hunger is escalating in Gaza, diseases threaten to spread, and the relentless Israeli bombardment continues.”

He further highlighted that “parents are unable to find food for their children, and patients are left without medicine in Gaza.”

Lazzarini also noted the soaring prices in Gaza, describing them as “skyrocketing beyond control.”
He added, “Last week witnessed the deadliest days in the past 18 months of war, with reports of over 500 fatalities, including women and children.”

The statement emphasized that “more than 140,000 individuals in Gaza have been displaced following Israel’s evacuation orders.”

Lazzarini underscored the urgency of “lifting the siege, reopening crossings to allow the steady flow of humanitarian aid and commercial supplies, halting the bombardment, and resuming the ceasefire in Gaza.”

The Palestinian Health Ministry stated that its hospitals received the corpses of 25 slain Palestinians and more than 82 wounded in the last 24 hours. It added that the numbers do not include those who remain under the rubble.

It is worth mentioning that Israel resumed bombing Gaza on March 18, 2025, effectively ending a ceasefire that had been in place since January.

Israel has now killed more than 50,208 Palestinians, including over 17,954 children and 12,365 women, and injured at least 113,910, mostly children, women, and elderly, in several parts of the devastated Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
