According to local sources in Gaza, 62 Palestinians were killed and 296 injured people arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours. In addition, Israeli occupation forces continue to displace Palestinians from the areas of Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of killed and injured in the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 50,144, and the number of wounded to 113,704 since October 7, 2023.

Medical sources reported that the death toll includes 792 killed and 1,663 injured since March 18.

Many bodies are still under the rubble of destroyed homes and facilities, and on the roads, and that ambulances and specialized crews are unable to reach them due to the lack of resources.

At least 17 Palestinians were killed and others injured on Tuesday morning when the Israeli occupation forces bombed homes and tents of displaced people in Khan Younis, Al-Bureij refugee camp, Gaza City, Al-Zawaida, and Deir Al-Balah in the Gaza Strip.

Wafa news correspondents reported that the Anshasi family, consisting of five members (father, mother, and their three children), was killed when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a tent for displaced people in Hamad City, west of Khan Yunis.

Two civilians, one of them a child, were killed when the Israeli occupation forces targeted a house in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis.

Funeral of children and adults killed yesterday in Israeli bombing in Khan Younis:

Five civilians, including two women, were also killed in a similar attack on a house in Al-Bureij camp.

An Israeli airstrike targeted the Al-Khour family’s home in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, killing four civilians and wounding others.

A female citizen was killed and others were injured in an Israeli attack that targeted a house on Al-Nakhil Street in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes launched a series of consecutive raids targeting a house in Abasan, east of Khan Yunis, a house in the Bureij refugee camp, a chalet in Az-Zawayda, a house in Deir al-Balah, another in the Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, and another in Rafah, wounding several civilians, according to medical sources, some of whom arrived at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

Also Tuesday, the Chairman of the Palestinian National Council (PNC) Rawhi Fattouh strongly rejected and condemned the Israeli announcement of a so-called “voluntary displacement” administration, saying he considered this announcement a clear “war crime” aimed at implementing a policy of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

In a press statement, he explained that the genocide and heinous massacres being perpetrated against Palestinian civilians, in addition to the ongoing intimidation and ethnic cleansing to which our people are subjected, are completely inconsistent with the term “voluntary migration.”

In this regard, he clarified that voluntary displacement does not occur under the pressure of daily death and destruction, nor is it a voluntary choice. Rather, it is a direct result of an occupation crime aimed at forcing our people to flee the hell of war and genocide imposed by the occupation on our people in Gaza and the West Bank.

He said that the attempt to impose racist policies aimed at uprooting Palestinians from their lands and identity constitutes a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and conventions, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits all forms of forced displacement of the population in the occupied territories.

The Council President called on the International Criminal Court to take immediate action, to add this declaration to the indictment of war criminals in the Israeli occupation government wanted by international justice, and consider these policies a crime of ethnic cleansing, requiring those responsible to be held accountable.

He also called on the international community, at all levels, to provide urgent protection for the Palestinian people in the face of these ongoing crimes, stressing that the Palestinian people will confront these projects and thwart them, just as they have thwarted all settlement projects since the Palestinian Nakba, and will continue to defend their national and legitimate rights until they achieve their freedom and establish their independent state.
