On Tuesday, September 23rd, the 718th day of Israel’s ongoing campaign of genocide in Gaza, the Israeli military escalated its bombardment of residential neighborhoods and displacement camps, killing and wounding numerous Palestinians.

The oxygen has been cut off at the Al-Quds Hospital in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, after it was exposed to gunfire from the Israeli occupation forces. The hospital currently relies on pre-packaged oxygen cylinders, which are sufficient for only 3 days, which directly threatens the lives of patients.

As of midnight on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces are present at the southern gate of the hospital and are preventing entry and exit from it.

A paediatric hospital and an eye care hospital in Gaza City have been forced to shut down following repeated Israeli attacks, including direct bombings of one of the facilities and its surroundings.

The Palestinian health ministry reported that the Eye Hospital is the only public facility providing eye care services in Gaza City, while Al-Rantisi Hospital for children offers paediatric services not available elsewhere.

“There are no safe routes to reach hospitals and medical facilities, preventing patients and the wounded from accessing care,” the ministry said in a statement.

“The occupation is deliberately and systematically targeting the healthcare system in Gaza City as part of its policy of genocide against the population of the Gaza Strip”

Large numbers of children, women, and the elderly have gathered outside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, displaced by ongoing Israeli airstrikes and the advance of Israeli forces in the city. Many now find themselves without shelter or a safe place to go.

Families in Gaza, displaced by relentless Israeli bombardment in Gaza city, are forced to sleep on the streets, unable to find shelter or even a single tent.

Amr Saleh, 25 years old Palestinian, suffers from partial paralysis and severe malnutrition, worsened by the ongoing genocide and blockade, leaving his body skeletal and his condition critical.

He and his family were forcibly displaced from Jabalia camp to Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, where his mother, Sabah, struggles to care for him while also protecting her seven other children amid scarce food, medicine, and shelter.
