Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man and abducted others, near Tulkarem city, demolished a home and forced residents out of their homes in the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the village of Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarem, on Tuesday night, besieged the homes of the Abu Seria and Hamdan families, amid the overhead flight of reconnaissance drones.

Sources added that soldiers detained the residents of the two houses and interrogated them, while firing many live rounds, resulting in the injury of a 19-year-old man who sustained a live gunshot wound to the leg; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces demolished a citizen’s home, on Wednesday afternoon, in Al-Manshiya neighborhood of the Nur Shams refugee camp, while additional military vehicles, including bulldozers were pushed to the camp.

He added that bulldozers continued to sabotage and destroy vital infrastructure and citizens’ property, including the street connecting the Shuhada and Mujahideen neighborhoods, amid the sounds of large explosions and gunfire.


Meanwhile, on Tuesday night, occupation forces stormed the Othman bin Affan Mosque in the center of Tulkarem city, detaining and interrogating displaced residents, before abducting citizens.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the Othman bin Affan Mosque in Tulkarem, before forcing the displaced persons inside to leave, detaining and interrogating them in the field, and abducting an undetermined number of citizens.

Sources added that Israeli soldiers stormed the Hijazi family home in the city, before inspecting their ID cards and interrogating them in the field, later it was reported that the army abducted the citizen, Bader Hakam Hijazi, after invading his home.

Furthermore, on Wednesday morning, occupation forces ordered the residents of the Nur Shams refugee camp to evacuate their homes, after besieging the camp for four consecutive days.

Media sources said that soldiers invaded the Al-Ayada neighborhood mosque in the camp, and called over the mosque loudspeaker, ordering the residents of the Nur Shams refugee camp to evacuate their homes, amid the firing of live rounds and concussion grenades.

Moreover, occupation forces abducted two Palestinian women from their homes in the village of Ramin and the town of Beit Lid, east and southeast of Tulkarem.

Media sources said that before dawn on Wednesday, occupation forces abducted Ruba Al-Saed “Basisi” (45 years old) after invading her home in the village of Ramin, east of Tulkarem.

Sources added that at dawn Wednesday, Israeli soldiers stormed and ransacked the home of the woman, Sireen Saidi, before abducting her in the town of Beit Lid, southeast of Tulkarem.

Israeli forces have been besieging and attacking the city of Tulkarem and the Tulkarem refugee camp for 17 consecutive days, and the Nur Shams camp for 4 day, destroying infrastructure and private property, and forcibly displacing Palestinian citizens.
