Israeli occupation forces killed twelve Palestinians and wounded many others across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, as daily “ceasefire” violations continued for the 286th consecutive day.
The attacks included artillery shelling, drone strikes, live fire, and demolition operations in Gaza City, the central governorate, and Khan Younis, amid warnings from Palestinian authorities that the expanding Israeli military activity threatens to further destabilize the fragile ceasefire framework.
In Gaza City, Israeli tanks, and artillery intensified attacks in the Zeitoun neighborhood, firing shells and live rounds around Salahuddin Mosque and Doula Junction as armored vehicles advanced toward Abu Marahil and Dawla areas.
Israeli forces also carried out demolition operations east of the city and continued firing toward the Tuffah neighborhood.
In addition, medical officials confirmed the death of Abdullah Hassan, who succumbed to wounds sustained days earlier when Israeli forces targeted a civilian vehicle on Al‑Jalaa Street in Gaza city.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli drone strikes repeatedly targeted tents sheltering displaced families in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The Al‑Aqsa Hospital in Deir al‑Balah confirmed the killing of 28‑year‑old Saeb Ahmad Salman Abu Mu’alla after a drone strike hit a tent housing displaced civilians west of the camp, wounding several others.
Hours later, another Israeli drone strike hit a tent near the Tabbet an‑Nuwairi area west of Nuseirat, killing one resident and injuring others, according to medical staff at Al‑Awda Hospital.
Civil defense teams also reported a critically wounded resident after an Israeli airstrike west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
In Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continued heavy bombardment of eastern neighborhoods, including the vicinity of the Rafah garage area.
Witnesses reported intense activity of reconnaissance aircraft and quad‑copter drones over Al‑Mawasi and eastern Khan Younis.
The Nasser Medical Complex confirmed the killing of 59‑year‑old Mufid Abdul‑Hamid Mohammad Abu Al‑Einein, who was shot by Israeli forces in the Al‑Burj area near Bir 19 in Al‑Mawasi. Two additional residents were wounded by Israeli gunfire.
Israeli naval vessels also fired shells and heavy machine‑gun rounds off the coast of the central governorate.
In northern Gaza, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported transferring a wounded resident from the Al‑Salatin area of Beit Lahia to the Saraya field hospital. Earlier, a resident suffered life‑threatening injuries when Israeli aircraft bombed Jabalia refugee camp.
Local sources reported additional Israeli drone strikes east of Deir al‑Balah, part of a pattern of escalating attacks documented throughout the day. Civil defense teams said victims remain under rubble and in open areas where rescue access is impossible due to ongoing Israeli fire.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that hospitals received twelve fatalities within the past 24 hours, including eleven killed directly by Israeli attacks and one who died from previous wounds.
Twelve additional residents were injured. The ministry warned that the real toll is higher, as many victims cannot be retrieved.
Since the “ceasefire” agreement on October 11, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,180 Palestinians and injured 3,810, with 802 bodies recovered from rubble.
The cumulative toll since the start of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,305 killed and 173,918 wounded.
