On Sunday, two illegal paramilitary colonizers were injured in a shooting attack in Huwwara town, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Israeli sources said “Magin David Adom” medics rushed to the area and treated the two Israelis, adding that one of the wounded suffered a serious but stable injury.
They added that the Israeli army initiated a massive search campaign in the area, trying to locate the shooter. One of the wounded Israeli colonizers is also a citizen of the United States of America.
In a statement, the Israeli army said the Palestinian who shot the colonizer was also shot and injured and added that the soldiers located him by following the drops of his blood that led to his location.
The incident occurred near the site where, a month ago, two Israeli siblings, Hallel, and Yagel Yaniv, were killed in a shooting attack.
The Hamas movement said the shooting is a natural response to the ongoing and increasing Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and added that the resistance in the West Bank is becoming stronger and more determined to continue the struggle for liberation and independence.
