Two Palestinians were killed and fourteen others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours as Israeli forces continued to violate the “ceasefire agreement” through renewed shelling, limited ground incursions, home demolitions, and attacks targeting displaced families.

The escalation highlights the fragility of the “truce” and the worsening humanitarian crisis across the devastated coastal enclave.

The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that the latest fatalities raise the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli ceasefire violations since October 11, 2025, to 1,029, with 3,294 documented injuries and 785 bodies recovered from beneath destroyed homes and streets.

The cumulative toll since the start of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has climbed to 73,041 killed and 173,402 injured.

The Health Ministry reiterated that many victims remain trapped under rubble and in streets that rescue teams cannot reach due to ongoing military activity and the destruction of civil defense infrastructure.

On Wednesday, a child was killed and several Palestinians were wounded when Israeli forces shelled the Al‑Ard Al‑Tayyiba refugee camp in the Al‑Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The victims were transported to Nasser Medical Complex for treatment.

Civil Defense teams also confirmed the death of Adam Abu Hadaid, who succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli strike near Street 5 in the Al‑Mawasi area of Khan Younis on Tuesday evening.

The agency added that an Israeli drone targeted the vicinity of the Al‑Attar area in Al‑Mawasi on Wednesday, though no immediate information was available regarding casualties or damage.

Israeli forces carried out multiple ceasefire violations across the Strip from early Wednesday. East of Gaza City, soldiers detonated an explosive‑laden robot while simultaneously demolishing several homes in surrounding neighborhoods.

Israeli artillery shelled eastern areas of the city, and naval forces opened heavy machine‑gun fire along the coastline.

Israeli tanks also fired toward areas south of Khan Younis, while military vehicles carried out a limited incursion at dawn into the Al‑Atatra area northwest of the Strip.

Israeli military bulldozers also razed land and surrounded tents sheltering displaced families, further restricting movement and access to aid.

These developments mark the 258th consecutive day of Israeli violations of the “ceasefire agreement” signed in Sharm el‑Sheikh on October 10, 2025, under Arab and U.S. mediation. Despite the agreement, Israeli forces have continued to conduct incursions, shelling, home demolitions, and attacks on displacement centers across the Gaza Strip.

On its part, the Ministry of Social Development reported a sharp rise in the number of widows in Gaza, now exceeding 28,000, reflecting the scale of family destruction and the severe humanitarian conditions facing households that have lost their primary providers.

Gaza City and northern Gaza hold the highest concentration of widowed families, placing them at the forefront of urgent humanitarian need.
